Villa turn of the century

Private Residency | VIENNA

The turn-of-the-century villa was completely renovated. Elke Altenberger was brought on board during the furnishing phase. The task was to optimize the function and aesthetics of the already renovated rooms and adapt them to the needs of the client. The floors of the house were deliberately divided into different styles according to their use.

The interior designer had to create connections that brought together the rooms and furnishings in their different styles and allowed them to be perceived as a whole via the connecting spaces such as the foyer, stairwell, etc.

Essentially, fabrics and curtains as well as lamps and accessories were used as stylistic elements and this or that piece of furniture was placed in a visual center and stylistically arranged.
