Villa turn of the century

Interior design& furnishing advice - Villa Jahrhundertwende 1180 Vienna

After the core renovation, interior designer Elke Altenberger was commissioned to design the living spaces. The challenge: to create a harmonious living concept for a historic house with different style zones. The result: well thought-out room sequences and a stylistically coherent whole.

Interior design advice with a flair for style - Villa Jahrhundertwende Wien

This magnificent turn-of-the-century villa was extensively renovated - and then fine-tuned in terms of functionality, aesthetics and style by Elke Altenberger. The interior designer took over the furnishing consultation in the sensitive phase following the renovation in order to give the individual living areas a clear, elegant signature.

Each floor was interpreted individually in terms of design - from the prestigious first floor to the private retreats on the upper floor. The challenge: to bring together different styles to create a harmonious overall impression. Connecting elements such as curtains, fabrics, lights and carefully placed furniture created a harmonious flow throughout the entire house.

The design of the foyer, staircase and passageways in particular created an elegant connection between the different zones. The aim was not to enforce stylistic unity, but to develop a cultivated living concept that allows for diversity and yet is convincing as a whole.

A successful example of tailor-made interior design and furnishing advice in Vienna, where every detail is tailored to the needs of the client - stylish, homely and with architectural sensitivity.
