In an exclusive residential environment near Vienna, interior designer Elke Altenberger oversaw the entire interior design of a spacious villa for a young family. Integrated early on in the planning phase, the result was a living concept with stylistic freedom, high functionality and plenty of space for family life - between Austria and Italy.

This project is an example of how valuable it can be to involve interior design and furnishing consultants in the architectural planning process at an early stage. Interior designer Elke Altenberger was entrusted with the overall interior design concept as early as the master builder and architectural phase - for a villa as the main residence of a young, internationally oriented family.

In close consultation with the owners and the planning team, a living solution was created that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The family, with an active social life, needed a spatial concept that combines openness, structure and suitability for everyday use - without any stylistic restrictions.

The result is a balanced interplay of custom-made furniture, elegant materials and room organization suitable for everyday use. Each area has been individually designed - from the open-plan living and dining area to private retreats for parents and children.
