The building was constructed in the 1990s. The interior design of the apartment for 2 people was to be freed from the style and taste of the time and create additional space for a home office and plenty of storage space. This in a modern timeless design to convey a significantly better living and living feeling
Elke Altenberger took on the entire project under clear time and budget constraints. The 102m2 apartment was to provide sufficient space for a home office despite its spatial limitations.
A new room concept was created that combines living, dining and kitchen centrally and separates work areas. The small foyer has become an eye-catcher and can be separated from the living area if required.
The focus was on generating as much storage space as possible without reducing the overall impression of the rooms, but actually making them appear more spacious.
